•Recruitment for the advertised position is initially for fixed term period of 03 years on company roll . On completion of 03 years of period stated above, the employee will be considered for appointment on company's regular roll which shall be subject to performance of individual and organizational needs.
•The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience preferably in hazardous chemical/petrochemical/Refinery Industries.
Job Responsibilities
•Plan and oversee the daily shift activities (emergency and non-emergency) like Emergency Response, Preventive Maintenance of Fire Protection System (FPS), Conduct Fire Drills & Topography Drills etc.
•Get involved, identify and assess potential fire risk situation in PTW system and render advise/assist for reasonably practicable measures in order to safely execute job.
•Having relevant experience of handling, coordinating and mitigating emergency situation like fire, explosion, toxic gas release, loss of containment etc.
•Oversee and/or participate in the ensuring effective use and application of various FPS and equipment dealing with fire control, extinguishment, rescue and extrication and hazmat situation.
•Proficient knowledge of conducting inspection, routine maintenance, functional testing including troubleshooting of FPS and Fire Tender as a part of asset management.
•Enable for competency building capabilities of associates and plant personnel pertaining to FPS, as per training need identification.
•Conduct fire & safety promotional activities that support fire-safety awareness across the organization and including public.
•Be familiar with tools/methods of proactive identification of potential fire risk assessment and its control measures in process plants.
•Candidate should be capable of report writing including Management Information System pertaining to fire department.
•Be well versed with preparing and implementing Standard Operating Procedure @ FPS, operation of Fire Water Pump House & Fire Tender.
•Basic knowledge of fire behaviour and suppression principle, practices and procedure, Fire Alarm Detection System, conduct of initial fire investigation etc.
•Candidate shall have valid heavy vehicle license.
•Coordinate with concern departments for successfully installation, testing and commissioning activities of various fire protection system e.g. Fire Water Network, HVWS, FADS etc.
•Familiarize with requirements of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 and SAP System.
•Foster a culture that support discipline within team to see that team work efficiently and effectively.
•Candidate shall have good knowledge of Computer application e.g. MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT) etc.
