ResponsibilitiesImplementing and enforcing fire and safety procedures at various sites within the Power/Energy sector
Conducting regular inspections to identify and address potential fire hazards
Developing and conducting fire safety training programs for employees
Coordinating with external emergency services to ensure preparedness for potential fire incidents
Investigating and reporting on-site accidents and near-misses, and implementing preventive measures
Maintaining and testing fire suppression equipment and systems
Keeping abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to fire safety
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.Tech)
Fire and Safety certificate
5-12 years of experience in the Power/Energy industry
•Fire Shift Incharge
Responsibilities
The Fire Shift Incharge will play a crucial role in maintaining fire and safety measures at our sites, overseeing and implementing safety protocols, and managing emergency response procedures. Key responsibilities include:
Implementing fire and safety procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards
Conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments
Developing and implementing emergency response plans
Leading and training the fire and safety team
Coordinating with external emergency services
Investigating and reporting on incidents and near misses
Contributing to continuous improvement of safety practices
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.Tech)
Fire & Safety certification
5-12 years of experience in the Power/Energy industry.
•Associate Manager - Safety
Responsibilities
Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Lead and coordinate safety training programs for employees and contractors to promote awareness and understanding of safety protocols.
Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish safety goals and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage and maintain safety records, reports, and documentation for regulatory and internal reporting requirements.
Stay updated with industry best practices, regulations, and emerging safety technologies to proactively address safety concerns.
Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and external stakeholders on safety-related matters.
Provide guidance and support to management and employees on safety-related issues and initiatives.
Champion a safety-first culture by promoting employee engagement and participation in safety programs and initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
